Installation using Sitecore Containers

Sitecore has made the installation of the application easier by packing its software inside containers. Although Sitecore 9.3 supported containers, in Sitecore 10 it will come out of the box.

Headless Experience with ASP.NET Core

Solr Replaces Azure Search

Since the Azure Search provider caused a lot of problems in the Sitecore 9.3 version, they have now deprecated it and have asked to continue working with Solr instead which is good news for developers.

Data Privacy Improvements

Some of the Sitecore 10 updates improve data privacy, which is essential to meet the GDPR compliance standards. They have stated that the process of data collection via Sitecore Forms has become more compliant with GDPR.

Another update brings new consent management tools. Using these tools, marketers can customize consent requirements for different sites.

JSS and SXA Conjunction

Since version 9.2, developers have been using JSS and SXA in parallel. Some minor fixes have been done to improve old features and also support new ones.

Personalization for Sitecore XM

Personalization rules were earlier defined for Sitecore Experience Platform(XP) components and not for lightweight CMS Sitecore Experience Manager(XM). Sitecore 10 has addressed this issue and has introduced basic personalization rules to XM.

Filter for Analytics Reports

Segmentation filter has been added to ma analytics reports look increasingly valuable. We can now apply a variety of segmentation rules to our customers, dividing the report into multiple groups and get insightful data about each group.

NEW TEMPLATES FOR EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
